Angel Radio - Technical Stuff

Our Audio Links

The audio from studios 1 and 2 is fed from the Airmate mixers to a 2-channel mixer, which sends audio from one or both studios to a Pioneer 12-channel Graphic Equaliser

The audio (2 separate mono channels) from the Pioneer 12-channel Graphic Equaliser then goes to a Behringer Tube Composer which adds warmth and limits the audio.

The 2 separate mono audio channels from the Behringer Tube Composer are then split. One channel is fed into the link transmitter. The other channel is fed to a PC which streams our audio in 64kb mono to the ViaStreaming server.

The PC streams Angel Radio onto the internet.

The link transmitter sends an FM signal to a 2-Element Yagi aerial, which radiates our audio on 48.425 MHz to a link receiver at the main transmitter site.
