The Good Morning Show has been through many changes since it first went on air in February 1999. Originally it was a 3-hour show, which ran from 6am to 9am. It was presented by Angel's Manager, Tony Smith, and included lots of listener's telephone calls, a 'What's on Diary', music and chat.
In February 2002 it became a 1-hour show running from 7am until 8am and was presented by various members of the Angel team. Gradually it evolved into Mildred French's Good Morning Show, with her husband, Walter acting as her receptionist. When Walter died the programme became what it is today, a 30 minute music show with minimum speech.
Many of the Angel team have had a go at presenting the Good Morning Show including -
TONY POWER JIM REILLY NIGEL FREEMANTLE
JEFF LYONS MARTIN KIRBY ANNE LUPTON
JILL KNOX DAVID GODFRAY YVONNE MILLER
JOHN WARD MILDRED FRENCH
The Good Morning Show is broadcast every day at 7.30am til 8am.
